A starting point for the story, atmosphere and voiceover, bringing the supplied photographs and a moving mirror scene together.
This draft includes the soft Aimée’s logo reveal and a faint My Branding Agency watermark. The finished direction could develop the transition from black and white to colour, with subtle sparkle effects and a refined voiceover.
Four short experiments to watch separately. Each explores a piece of the journey; all four are silent and carry a faint preview watermark.
A short, silent arrival scene exploring the feeling of stepping into Aimée’s and beginning a special experience.
A silent browsing scene exploring gentle movement, the boutique setting and the anticipation of finding a favourite dress.
This test draws on several reference photographs to explore a more connected moving scene. The person’s appearance changes, so it is useful for discussing atmosphere and movement.
The original mirror experiment explores that special moment of seeing a dress come to life. The hair and appearance differ from the photographs; this is a demonstration of the effect.
The heart of the idea is the feeling: anticipation, discovery and that wonderful moment when a dress feels right.
We could use a clearly fictional model, perhaps with different-coloured hair, taking inspiration from the photographs while keeping the boutique and dresses recognisable. This would give the story its own character without suggesting an exact likeness.
If you have any real video footage available, we could build around that instead. Clips of arriving, browsing and trying on dresses would preserve the real people and details, with the magic added through editing, colour and subtle effects.
I would love to hear what you think of the story and which moments you like best. Does the fictional fairy-tale direction appeal to you, or would you prefer to explore an approach using real footage?
